When I was small, there was an adventure story, called "Chander Pahar" or the Mountain of the Moon which was part of our curriculum. It has the ability to store water in its sap, for using in draught season. Even travellers can get water from the sap and quench their thirst.(Don't know if Bear Grylls has already shown it).
