Karenjit Kaur widely known as Sunny Leone is probably one of the most popular actresses in India. From being in the adult film industry and making her way to Bollywood, she has earned success as few have. But, this journey of hers was not easy and do we expect it to be easy? No! Born in a conservative Indian family in Canada, it was impossible for her to even think of the adult film industry. But, she made through it. Soon, she found the love of her life Daniel Weber and got married to him.
She is really involved in charitable ventures too. Like her Wikipedia says “Apart from her acting career, she has been part of activism campaigns including the Rock 'n' Roll Los Angeles Half-Marathon to raise money for the American Cancer Society and has also posed for a People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) ad campaign with a rescued dog, encouraging pet owners to have their cats and dogs spayed and neutered.”

There are ten episodes in season 1 and season 2 will premiere on 18 th September 2017. I watched the show and was so intrigued by season 1 that I’ll definitely not miss season 2. What attracted me most to the series are the songs and how it fits with the series.
“The Journey Within”
If you hear the theme song of the series “The Journey Within”, you’ll get a sneak peek into the series and into her past life. It really makes us feel the pain and hardships she went through to pursue her choice of career. This song brilliantly captures the theme of the series and the way it is portrayed is amazing.
“It’s Hot’
Then the fun, bubbly song “It’s hot” gives us an overview of how Sunny overcomes hatred like a boss and how she did what she wanted always. It sets up a fun and colourful mood while bubbling with confidence.
“Sweet Surrenders”
My favourite is the song “Sweet Surrenders” originally sung by the Disparrows - Stephen Tecci, Daniel Weber, Grant Loosvelt, Aaron Gutierrez. It marks the entry of Prince Charming Daniel Weber played by Marc Buckner. This song just automatically absorbs you in the love story of Karenjit and her now-husband Daniel Weber. You just need to watch the song so that you can understand what I want to say.
The first song from Season 2 premiered a while back and it too has managed to capture my heart. The song “I Promise” is so melodious and emotional. It focuses on her marriage, her relationship with her parents and gives a sneak peek at what we can expect in Season 2 as well.
