Oriflame The One Blend Palette Eyeshadow Review, Swatches and EOTD

Hello everyone,
I am really excited as I write this post as the month of December is finally here especially because I am a Christian and Christmas is almost here. So I have so many things to do and that begins with shopping of course. I am not a spendthrift to be honest and I believe in buying few things which I need so as to keep up with the festive spirit.Coming to today's post I have something exciting to share - a new launch from Oriflame India again. If you don't know this yet Oriflame as a company completed 50 years as a company globally and have had many new exciting products, offers, events this year. Also they have been very consistent with new launches and as a beauty blogger I always get more excited when there are new launches in makeup. So they have two new launches in eye makeup which I will be reviewing on my blog, so stay tuned for that.

Oriflame The One Blend Palette Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

Oriflame India has launched The One Blend Palette Eyeshadow collection this time and they come in 3 variants.

Packaging:
All 3 palettes come enclosed in a cardboard box. The palette is made of plastic and is black in color with yellow patterns on it which makes it look attractive. The eye shadows are numbered from 1 to 8 which means you get 8 colors in each palette. The palette is tiny and unlike regular palettes which makes it perfect for travelling. There is no mirror which is a bummer but there is small chart which instructs you as to how to use those shadows for different looks. There is a small sponge tip applicator which is okayish and not really helpful in applying the shadow but can be used for emergency purposes.Overall I love how tiny it is and will fit in any makeup pouch without occupying a lot of space.

Price of each palette is - Rs.899/- but is available on a special discount of Rs. 629/- in this current month (December 2017)

Availability: Oriflame products are exclusively available through Oriflame consultants across India and even online.

NATURELLE
This is the perfect palette I feel for everyday use as it has all warm tone shades. There are neutral, olive and plum tone colors which is perfect for this season.

SMOKEY
This palette has all the shades which are best used for creating smokey eye looks. You can use one or more shadows to create a look. The pigmentation of the black eyeshadow (no.8)is good and does a job of blending in the outer V of the eye.The no.7 shadow is stunning however little glittery but is a perfect shadow for those glittery party kind of looks.

I have used the SMOKEY Palette for this look :)
VIVID
This palette is perfect for those who love to play with colors.Well if you work outside your  home using these colors everyday is  not advisable but if you look at the palette closely, you will see there is a perfect mix of colors and neutrals. The Gold and purple are really cute and my favorite from this palette.

My final thoughts:
All 3 palettes have eye shadows which are satin in formula and have tiny shimmers which are not chunky except for one shadow here and there. The shadows are buttery soft and pick up easily on the brush.I would suggest using an eye shadow primer which can be anything like a base/foundation/concealer and then powder the area before you apply the shadow that way it will go on easily and also will look more vibrant and true to color. As these are buttery soft there will be  fallout's while picking the shadow but tapping off the excess would work any day.

The shadows can also be used wet or dry for maximum intensity. I did use the Smokey palette and created a look (pictured above) which I really loved and very unlike of me to create a look like that..Lol I was impressed by the pigmentation and the texture of the shadows especially the black which is highly pigmented. The shadows stayed all day when I tested them and I found minimal fading and no creasing at all.The only con I would say is the 'price' it is expensive considering the pans are really tiny but quality wise and everything else these are amazing. Do give them a try for sure, I do highly recommend.

MLWM Rating:4.5/5
