Image Skincare- Testing out two new beauties! ~ Skincare Makeup Style

Loving the skin you're in can get quite difficult at times. It gets extremely difficult when perhaps you don't give it the time and loving it needs to then be perfect for you. As a blogger and makeup lover, I will sometimes sacrifice the normal 'routine' to try this and that or to add something new by taking something away. Sometimes and it's extremely rare but I'll manage to take my makeup off correctly but then I just leave it, no toning, no moisturiser, fall into bed and then wonder why my skin doesn't seem as nice or as fresh the next day. It's difficult though, we all get busy and we don't think long term.

Recently I received two high end skin products and I promised myself I would try really hard to use them properly and to make the most of my skin. I am going to show you the two products I was sent and then let you know my thoughts on them. Now as usual ladies I will be 100% honest. Skincare can be extremely difficult to judge quickly. you need to give yourself as much time as possible to make a call on something so while I am writing honestly I have only been using these products for maybe 6 week so just please bear that in mind.

So what am I talking about today? Well it is two face products from none other than Image Skincare. I am not new to this brand whatsoever so I have also linked another post I wrote including some of their products HERE I really like the brand, any event that I have been to has been so informative, there is a real passion behind the creation of products and they are always upping the game with each new launch. I recently missed a launch including some makeup products as I had to work and I'm raging I did because I'd have love to have heard where the concept for these new products came from. But back to today's products...

Vital C Hydrating Facial Oil:

This oil is as it says it's an oil so I haven't been comfortable enough to wear it alone under moisturiser so I have added this to my night time routine instead. After my makeup has been removed usually when I am home from work, I lash this on my face. Depending on the time of the cleanse I will then add a night moisturiser to it or if it's very late I will leave the oil to work it's lovely magic while I sleep. I don't like going to bed with a 'wet face' so if it's too close to bed I won't use the oil as much, just on my drier areas of my face. You only need a teeny amount as the oil will spread evenly over your face so an investment in this product is really worth the money. I also love the scent of oranges so this products is one of my fave. It's not a strong smell at all, when I hear vitamin C I'm all over that for boosting my skin.

Prevention+ Daily Matte Moisturizer SPF 32:

This new generation, oil-free, broad spectrum UVA/UVB moisturizer incorporates micro-sponge technology to absorb skin’s surface oils to leave skin with a matte, non greasy, shine-free finish. Matte Moisturizer SPF 32 contains potent antioxidant thiotaine, as well as free radical scavengers to protect against environmental exposures. Ideal for oily, acne prone or Men’s skin. Apply liberally 30 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply frequently or after prolonged swimming and vigorous activities.

I love it I love it i love it!! As an oily faced person there's nothing more that I hate than a greasy sun protected face. I really don't like it at all, this being smothered in something even if it's factor 50 and your face feels like it's walking with the dirt it's so frustrating. This new 32+ matte moisturiser s perfect for me. I literally wear this every single day i want to wear makeup in the summer. Now that the weather has also gotten better over the last few days I have added a Dermalogica factor 50 booster to the moisturiser, just a drop, and my makeup is sitting flawlessly on my skin. This really is a super product and when it runs out I would 100% purchase this for next spring summer. It is a lovely product and really meets the needs of an oily skinned person for the hot weather.

So there we have it of course big thumbs up from me but it's very hard not to like a high end skincare brand who really put everything they have into creating stunning skincare products which will meet every skin concern. There are so many different ranges I would be so surprised if you couldn't find a product for yourself.
