VLCC Indian Berberry Face Scrub Review

Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a great Valentine's weekend. While there are some who get over excited about it, I don't because I believe somethings are better private.Of course everyone is free to do whatever they want but I just like to spend quite and quality time alone with my loved ones. I have been reviewing a lot of VLCC products on my blog and stay tuned for more as I am testing them one after the other. Today I am going to talk about the VLCC Indian Berberry Face Scrub and my experience and thoughts after using it.....

Indian Berberry has long been used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial effects, while Banana is known for its natural hydrating, antioxidant and anti-aging properties. Blending together the benefits of Indian Berberry and Banana, VLCC has created this efficient exfoliator that helps in remove tan, pigmentation and blackheads while simultaneously nourishing and protecting the skin.

The scrub comes in a semi opaque white tube with the brand name, logo on the front and basic instrcutions and ingredients at the back of the tube. It is travel friendly and user friendly as it comes with a flip cap.

Since the last months my skin has been going through a very bad phase. I never had acne on my face but now they do keep popping in and out frequently. My head is filled with small acne which is proimarily due to dandruff for which I am  treating my hair with proper oils and dandruff shampoos currently. I also realise how much I neglect  my skin. I have oily to combination skin and my face is filled with pores for which regular scrubbing is a must. That is when i got to try this scrub.

The scrub is off white in color and smells fruity. The scrub have fine particles which scrub the face well. One may find it  gritty but I say its perfect. I scrub a good 3 to 4 minutes and then wash with plain water. It helps in reducing blackheads if used regularly. Also post use skin feels soft and clean. It is meant for all skin types as rightly claimed because it did noy dry or make the skin feel stretchy. There is nothing much I can find fault with this product honestly.

The Good:
Easily available online and offline
Inexpensive
Contains Indian Berberry which is anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial
Smells fruity and pleasent
Helps in effective exfoliation
Skin feels softer and cleaner post use
Ideal for all skin types
Travel friendly packaging

The not so Good:
Complete ingredients list missing

Rating: 4.8/5

VLCC Indian Berberry Face Scrub does a great job of exfoliating the face while making the skin soft & supple. It smells nice and works well for all skin types including my oily to combination skin. I do recommend this scrub to all ☺
