Hello sweeties! How have all of you been? So i am Ishleen, the newest addition to beauty and beyond blog! And i am here with my very first review post--and what could be better than making a debut reviewing a lip colour? So basically Jhilmil mam sent across a couple of mouth watering lipsticks for me to test out and review for your gorgeous girls! And here i am today, starting be reviewing the Loreal Paris Color Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in Coral Encore!

How to use:
Use the wand to apply starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to outer edges of your lips, following the contour of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.
My Experience
Packaging- Gradually you'll get to know what a sucker I am for classy yet cute packagings! And this golden coloured tube filled with glory could not escape my appreciation! The sleek tube, though not very light weight is really classy to look at and is very sturdy! The golden coloured tube looks like just any ordinary fat lipstick but it is indeed a lip cream with a wand which opens with a twist up mechanism! The cuteness part comes in through the thick oval shaped Colour coded thing which indeed adds that oomph to the otherwise chic and classy packaging! :)
Shade- One thing I am fan of is cute, coral-pinkish lip colours which i can use on almost a daily basis! And this particular shade is exactly what I look in my lip products! The shade Coral Encore is a true coral leaning more towards an orangy-pink! One thing which i am not much a fan of, is the shimmer in the product! No, its not that the shimmers are chunky or glittery, or even loud and in your face. Nah, ah! None of that! Its just that I am a matte lover and anything with even a hint of sheen or shimmer does not appease me much! Apart from that, if you are looking out for extraordinaire lip colours to start out with, this naturally flushed coral colour is the way to go!
Texture- The texture of this particular range of lip colours is ah-mazing, truly! On first look I expected them to be like any other typical gloss--sticky and gloopy! But boy oh boy, was i taken in for a surprise? This lip cream id the smoothest i have ever used, like literally! It is so creamy and above all not sticky at all! In Fact it makes your lips look so much better and almost gives an allusion of plumpness! Neither do they settle in fine lines neither do they get accumulated on the corners of the mouth! Even the shimmer is not at all gritterry and does not feel coarse on the lips!
Pigmentation and coverage- As with most lip creams, the pigments in this lip cream are not very opaque, but like glosses they are not very sheer also! They have just the perfect creamy sheen to them and can be layered for a more prominent look! As far as coverage goes, if you are the one with decent levels of pigmentation on the lips, this lip cream ain't helping you out much until you use a full coverage lip liner underneath it. But if you have minimum pigmented spots on your lips, two-three coats of this creamy lip colour will do its job well!
Staying power- This was the least efficient aspect of the lip cream! I usually apply my lip products on well exfoliated and moisturised lips! But i tested this particular lip cream atop a thin layer of concealer, lip liner and then the lip cream! And it still did not last for any more than 2.5-3 hours! No, it does not just fade away in 3 hours, it just disappears! And no, it does not stain--although i like staining products as they do not make your lips look bare after they fade away!
