Chicken Afghani with an Indian Twist

Hey beautifuls, after a long tie I am writing a recipe post. Well it is not that I have not been cooking all this while, but frankly I did not prepare anything worth sharing with you all. So today, while I made Chicken Afghani, I gave a little Indian twist to the same, to satisfy my taste bud.

Ingredients:

500 gm chicken pieces

1 large onion chopped

2 tablespoon minced garlic

3 cloves of roasted

1/2 cup yogurt

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

2 teaspoons of black Pepper Powder

1 teaspoon Garam masala powder

1/2 teaspoon Kewra water

2 tablespoon oil

Salt to taste

Boil the chicken pieces with a pinch of salt. Keep them aside after straining the water. Keep the stock to prepare the dish. In a pan heat the oil and add the chopped onion. Fry till it is translucent. Add the minced garlic. Once these turn brown add the chicken pieces along with salt, black pepper powder, lemon juice and yogurt. Add portion of the stock and cook till oil oozes out. You can keep it just like this or you can add your own twist by adding some more water, Garam Masala Powder, the roasted cloves of garlic and the kewra water. Mix everything well. Serve hot with rice or paratha.
