Essence Prize Bundle Review

I was also very lucky to receive one of the beauty packs to try out and share my thoughts. I am thrilled to have had this opportunity because now I can 100% stand over when I say, You will LOVE this prize!!

Let's take a look at what's in the bundle....

The prize is jam packed with over 10 products for you to add to your essence collection. I was used all the products (except all the nail products because I get CND Shellac on my fingers) and want to share my thoughts.

So first up I want to talk about the nail products I did get to try out.

In order to test out the colours and in true blogger fashion I used the 2in1 base coat and then I used the Gel polish in 61 1001 Party Nights and the I love Trends polish in 29 Pink Lagoon on each foot. I rounded off my red foot with the Gummy Touch and the Purple with the 2in1 top coat. I have had these on all week and not a sign of a chip or anything. I wont gross anyone out with pictures of my feet so you will have to take my word for it but all 4 products are brilliant and so super cheap.

Next up is eyes...

These products are perfect for someone starting off with makeup or someone who doesn't have 'all day' to sit and do their makeup in the mornings. I have used all four products and while the shades are a little light for what I would wear on a night out, I found them perfect for day wear and work wear especially. I have used the Velvets 08 Coral Me Maybe & 03 Soft Caramel as a wash of colour on my lid applied with a blending brush and for the 2in1 shadow and liner in the shades 06 She's Got The Mauve & 03 Light Me Up, I'd draw them onto my lid and blended out then with a fluffy brush. If you are anyway shy of makeup I would highly recommend these eye products and let's face it, when something says 2in1 it's a total bargain!

Now onto Lips, possibly my favourite products when it comes to makeup...

My favourite out of these three products is the velvet stick in 05 Plum Perfect, it's really nice on the lips and not drying at all as you might expect. The lip oil in 02 First Help, Pinky is a lovely addition to my handbag. I am a disaster for looking after my lips during the day, they often get sore dry and chapped and then it's a crisis on how to fix it before the next time I want to wear a decent lipstick. The lip oil applied daily really stops that. The glossy stick in 04 Posh Pink is so smooth on the lips. 

I always like that brands like essence bring out such good lip products as if you want to try out a new colour like a bright red or a mad pink then essence is a great brand for that. essence is so available between pharmacies and penneys you're never short of a stand. 

Finally we have two fave products the first up is this little ball of blusher in the shade 10 Peach Candy and it's a beautiful soft peach. I tried applying this from the ball itself and it didn't work top well for me (i was feeling brave and thought I'd give it a lash) instead I like to take my blush brush sweep it over the top of the products and lightly apply it to my cheek for a healthy glow.

The final product might just be the most versatile of the lot and it's the All I need concealer palette.  I have been using the lightest colour to carve around my brows in the mornings I've also used it for concealing my blemishes when I have no tan on. I use the next shade for concealing with darker foundation and you could even use this for some cream contouring although I am not that brave.
