The Vikings Loyalty Card and my Vikings MOA experience!

It's here -- my very own Vikings Loyalty Card! We dine at Vikings A LOT. Whenever there's a special occasion (birthdays, holidays, etc.) or whenever we have foreign guests, we always go to Vikings. Having an endless array of food choices is always a real treat for us.

Vikings Loyalty Card

The Vikings Loyalty Card can be purchased for P300 at any Vikings branch. So what are the perks of having a Vikings Loyalty Card?

• You earn 1 Vikings point for every P100 spent on all Vikings branches plus its sister restaurants Niu and Four Seasons Hotpot City.
• Points earned go to Loyalty Points and Redemption Points. Loyalty Points are earned for status upgrades (Bronze 0 - 999, Silver 1000 - 1499, and Gold 1501+) while Redemption Points can be used to avail of dining and other rewards.
• You get discounts based on your card status -- (Silver gets 5% cash discount and 3% card discount while Gold gets 10% cash discount and 8% card discount).
• Silver and Gold levels enjoy priority entrance, invitations to special events, and free buffet on their birthday week (as long as there is one full paying adult).

Bread Selection at Vikings MOA

Anyway, hubby and I recently dined at Vikings MOA. We were entertaining some suppliers from China and we wanted to treat them to dinner. It was a stormy weeknight but wow, that didn't stop people from lining up at Vikings. There were 35 parties waiting outside amidst the howling winds and the non-stop rains. And guess what? It was ONLY 6PM!!! Crazy. Vikings MOA is the craziest ever. This is our maybe 4th time to attempt to eat here because all past walk-in attempts had ended in failure. We came armed with a reservation. The staff told us that at Vikings MOA, it makes no difference whether it's a weekday or weekend, payday or not, stormy or sunny... it's THAT extreme all day everyday.

OMG. I started with bread and Vikings' Banana Walnut Bread is an absolute dream. Moist and chewy, it's made with real fresh bananas and chopped walnuts. I had seconds... and thirds. This was hands down the best bread there was that night. Read more »
