A few nights ago we took our friend from China out to dinner at Banzai: The Great Teppanyaki Theater at SM by the BAY. We originally wanted to eat at Vikings but wow, when I called them at around 5:30pm they told me I could no longer reserve and when we attempted to walk in, we were told we were group #65. Take note, this is a THURSDAY night. That is just how crazy people are over Vikings. So we cruised by the area and finally decided to try out Marvin Agustin's Banzai, a Japanese-themed eat-all-you-can buffet restaurant.
It was pretty relaxed when we got there at about 7:30pm. I liked how spacious the place was and the Japanese-themed design made it quite cozy. The place filled up much later, about 8:30 to 9pm.
We were hungry so we went straight to the buffet area. As you'd expect from a Japanese buffet there was sashimi -- tuna and salmon to be exact.
