Happy Diwali to all my beautiful followers! I wish you all a very healthy and happy New Year!

For my Non-Indians, who might be thinking – What is Diwali??? Here’s a quick breakdown:

Diwali is best known all around the world as “Festival of Lights” – so much that you can see it out of space:

(ha! I am totally joking – but it is bright and shiny all around India today!)

Diwali marks the beginning of the fiscal year in the Indian culture. Diwali represents victory of light over darkness, happiness and love. It is particularly associated with the Lakshmi Goddess (of prosperity) and just all around a very positive holiday celebrated by Hindu’s, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains all over the world.

I have been in the US since I was about 8 years old and have just a few memories of my life in India – but I definitely do remember Diwali and all the beautiful lights – literally everywhere – around me. My extended family would come over to celebrate as well and it was all around just a very positive day.

I just want to take this moment and thank you all for such an amazing past year. You all have been so supportive of me and my youtube/blog/relationship and everything else I have shared. It is insane to think that I have over 20,000 people watching my videos and going on my life journey with me. I feel so blessed to have you all in my life.

Thank you for everything & I love you guys!
