Favorite Makeup Brushes – Real Techniques!

I used to swear by MAC Makeup brushes and for a long time – that was all that I used. A few months ago (maybe it’s been over a year or so now?) Samantha Chapman a.k.a “Pixiwoo” from YouTube created her own line of affordable but fantastic makeup brushes – REAL TECHNIQUES!

I love these brushes – they are so affordable (most are under $10!), cruelty free (synthetic bristles) and work well with all types of produts (Cream, liquid, powder etc.). I seriously feel like my makeup application is flawless with RT brushes.

Let’s take a closer look at my top 3!

Contour brush: I cannot get enough of this brush! Although it is made for contouring the face – I like to use it for my under eye concealer. I use 2 different concealers on a daily basis (one for correct and one to highlight) and this blends it into the face SO beautifully!

Buffing Brush: I adore this brush for buffing liquid or cream foundation into my face. It really buffs the product into the skin so effortlessly and does the work for you.

Blush Brush: What girl doesn’t love a pink handled makeup brush? Although this is suppose to be a blush brush – I like to use it for all over face powder. The bristles are super soft but pick up just the right amount of product so what’s not to love?

Overall, I think the Real Techniques brushes are amazing quality for an unbeatable price! The fact that most retailers who carry these brushes offer coupons on top of the actual cost doesn’t get any better!
