I have an affinity with all things Japanese. I think it started with my addiction to anime and video games which started during the late 70s or early 80s (Lol, tanders, hahaha!). I would watch Candy Candy, Voltes V, and Daimos on TV. I would play Legend of Zelda and other games on the Super Family Computer.
I was immediately attracted to Heroine Make as soon as I saw their anime princess, Princess Himeko. The brand was officially launched here in the Philippines some 3 weeks ago.
We watched a performance by Princess Himeko, she sang Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" to my surprise, lol. Heroine Make is all about being your own princess. You can by being beautiful all the time, and that is what this brand stands for with its user-friendly and long-lasting makeup line.
Anyhow, Japanese makeup artist Sayuri Igarashi was flown in from Japan for Heroine Make's Philippine launch. She demonstrated two eye looks that day. Read more »
