Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil Review

My dry skin this winter got the tender caress of several nice products and one of them has to be the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil.

About Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil:
Palmer’s Rosehip Skin Therapy Oil like any other product from Palmer's is ideal for daily moisturisation as it has a unique rapidermal absorption system that allows the natural oils and goodness to penetrate deep into the epidermal layer of the skin. It is rich in a range of antioxidants, including beta-carotene and lycopene, which help to restore elasticity and protect skin from premature ageing caused by modern living.

Price: $31 for 5 oz Available at 605 discount only at Beautyspin

Packaging: Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil comes in a pale yellow cardboard packaging. The oil comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a white flip-open cap.

Product: The oil is very light in texture and is peach gold in colour.

My experience: The Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil is very ligtweight, just like any lotion. It never feels greasy on the skin. However it truly moisturizes the skin and goes deep within to work in cell levels. As claimed by the brand I wanted to test how much is the oil effective on the 5 issues of skin damage. Firstly, I have surgery scars where I have been applying the oil. I thought it worked quite well. However, I have to use more of the oil to get better results. The scars are old and are quite deep set. Secondly, of course I have stretch marks on my stomach and upper part of my arms. This oil was very effective on the stretch marks. I am much worried about the stretch marks on my arms as I wear sleeveless. And thankfully with 5-6 days of usage I could see prominent results. Thirdly, undoubtedly it works wonders on dry damaged skin. I get dry patches on my elbows and knee cups. I have been applying this oil in the night before going to bed and the results have been really noticeable. Fourth issue is that of Uneven skin tone. As usual since I wear sleeveless my arms are quite darker than the rest of my body. It has worked moderately to even out the tone. I am not that impressed with its affect on uneven skin tone. Finally for ageing skin it is said to improve the elasticity of skin that looses firmness due to aging. And I thought it works really well in this department too. Areas like the inside of the thigh and waist are most prone to show loss of elasticity. And the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil really works well to give it a much firmer appearance.

Overall, I am really pleased by the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil. Specially the result it has shown on the stretch marks and sagging skin.
