The Face Shop Oil Control Water Cushion SPF 50 PA+++ Review

If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you'd know that I love Korean beauty products. Love love love. It's funny how The Face Shop was one of the first Korean brands to cross over to our shores but it's only now that I've had my first experience with the brand and its products. Well, for starters, The Face Shop products used to be priced high here in the Philippines. When I went to Korea back in 2012, I discovered that almost everybody (Etude House, Tonymoly, Nature Republic, Missha, Skin Food, Holika Holika, and The Face Shop) had almost the same pricing points (Laneige is in a different category because it is actually more expensive than the aforementioned brands in Korea). Etude House Philippines has always stuck close to the Korean SRP, but thanks to The Face Shop's recent launch event, I discovered that now, The Face Shop's pricing is just as close to the Korean SRP. Imagine, I spotted a tube of BB Cream at The Face Shop that costs only P295 -- but I'm getting ahead of myself.

So anyway, I attended my first ever The Face Shop event 2 weeks ago at their SM Megamall store. The Face Shop launched its newest product, The Face Shop Oil Control Water Cushion. It's not a BB Cream, I think it falls under foundation.

The Face Shop Oil Control Water Cushion is priced at a very reasonable P895.

There are 2 shades available for now (soon to be 4): V201 Apricot Beige and V203 Natural Beige.
