Makati Shangri-la Hotel's Mooncakes!

The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival is almost upon us (the exact date this year is Sept. 27, 2015) and you know what that means... Mooncakes!

Since I belong to a Chinese family, it's inevitable that we have a lot of mooncakes around this time of year. I've tried a lot of locally made mooncakes as well as imported ones from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Anyhow I dropped by Makati Shangri-la Hotel a couple of weeks ago to check out their mooncakes. They're perfect as gifts because they're packaged so nicely!

The long standing box above opens up and reveals six (6) mooncake cases arranged like steps. I was impressed!
