I love receiving my Birthday Gift from Sephora but this year I was even more excited when I found out that the gift was from NARS ! This year’s birthday gift includes 2 deluxe size samples of the Nars Lip Pencils! The regular retail for the full size pencil is $25.00 and the deluxe sample sizes are 3/4 of the regular pencil!
The 2 pencils are:
Velvet Matte Lip Pencil “Cruella” – beautiful deep matte red. Cruella is very, very pigmented and a little bit will go a long way! Although it is completely matte, it will never feel too dry on your lips and does not feel like you are “pulling” on your lips as you apply the color. The deep red is so flattering on every skin tone!
Satin Lip Pencil “Rikugien” – soft pink satin lipstick. I usually never wear glossy light pink lipsticks but this looked really pretty on. It’s just a hint of pink with a lot of shine. Again, this seems to be one of those “universal” lipsticks which will work with all skintones. I would also consider this to be a layering lip product so you can add on top or under another lipstick to add shine/color.
